Job summary

The Ohio State University Medical Center is seeking a Unit Clerical Associate (UCA) for the General Neuro EMU PCU nightshift. You will coordinate and gather documentation for patient charts and provide clerical support under the RN and care team.

Responsibilities include processing orders, verifying forms for accuracy, and disseminating information on the unit. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, along with strong customer service and computer skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous patient care experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
• Strong customer service, organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and gather all documentation related to the patient chart.
• Provide clerical support under the direction of the Registered Nurse on the unit.
• Process orders, verify forms for accuracy and completeness, and disseminate information on the unit.
