Job summary

MyMichigan Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Neuro Trauma Intensive Care Unit in Midland, MI. The role provides integrated neurological, neurosurgical and trauma critical care using the nursing process with compassionate patient-centered care.

Responsibilities include assessing patients, coordinating care, evaluating progress, and collaborating with the health care team. CCRN/DIMC/ACLS certifications and MI RN licensure are preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of orientation through NTICU.
• CCRN certification preferred.
• RN license in Michigan (MI).

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient for physical, emotional, psy/ch social and family support.
• Organizes and coordinates all aspects of patient care according to the patient’s real and/or perceived needs.
• Evaluates patient progress by correlating patient information with nursing knowledge to determine if goals are being met.
• Consults and collaborates with health care team in planning and implementing total patient care.
