Job summary

Michigan Medicine seeks a registered nurse for the Neuro Critical Care Unit (NCCU). The NCCU provides 24-bed ICU care for neurosurgery, neurology, stroke, and OMFS patients with high-level critical care needs. Requires Michigan RN license and ACC requirements.

Experience in ICU and neuro-trauma settings is preferred; ACLS is required. The unit operates within a hybrid work framework with opportunities for professional growth and collaboration across the hospital system.

Qualifications

• Current Michigan RN license.
• Minimum of one (1) year ICU/Critical Care RN experience within the last five (5) years; Neuro-Trauma ICU preferred.
• Valid ACLS certification solely through the American Heart Association (AHA)

Responsibilities

• Care for patients from neurosurgery, neurology, stroke, OMFS on NCCU.
• Monitor and manage ventilated patients, external ventricular drains (EVDs), seizures, and intracranial pressure.
