Job summary

MyMichigan Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Neuro Trauma Intensive Care Unit. The role emphasizes integrated neurological/neurosurgical and trauma critical care using the nursing process with compassionate patient care.

Qualified candidates are expected to hold an RN license in Michigan, be eligible for required certifications (BLS, ACLS, TEAM ADVANCED), and demonstrate strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree in nursing; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Michigan RN licensure required or eligible.
• ACLS/BLS certifications within specified timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient for physical, emotional, psychosocial and family support.
• Organize and coordinate all aspects of patient care per needs.
• Evaluate progress and adjust care per plan of care.
• Collaborate with health care team to plan and implement total patient care.
