Job summary

Tenet Healthcare's Detroit Medical Center Receiving Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Neurological/Stroke ICU. The RN provides direct patient care, collaborates with physicians and the care team, and supports ongoing patient education and recovery.

The role requires a nursing degree, Michigan RN licensure, and AHA BLS certification, with BSN preferred. This is a day shift in a Level I trauma center setting with strong interprofessional teamwork.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a school of nursing is required.
• BSN preferred.
• Licensed to practice as an RN in Michigan is required.
• AHA BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and maintains collaborative relationships with physicians and other health care providers.
• Delegates, assesses, provides and evaluates patient care.
• Provides and delegates patient care activities to team members.
• Monitors patient progress and prepares patients for discharge.
• Reports to senior unit management and participates in shared decision-making.
