Qualifications

• Must hold a current and valid RN license to work at the assigned HMH location by date of hire.
• BSN in progress and/or plan to obtain within three years of hire.
• BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association within 60 days of hire.
• Six months of nursing experience OR active participant in Hackensack Meridian Health's Nurse Residency Program.
• National Certification in area of specialty preferred when eligible.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care per evidence-based policies and standards of care.
• Provide direct patient care and coordinate care with interdisciplinary team.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient needs and outcomes.
• Communicate plan of care to patients, families, and nursing staff.
• Perform continuous documentation of assessments and interventions.
• Administer medications safely using bar-scanning and documentation systems.
• Support safe patient transitions and discharge planning.
