Job summary

Qualifications

• A minimum of an associate in Nursing or diploma of Nursing degree.
• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire.
• Six (6) months of relevant nursing experience OR active participant in Hackensack Meridian Health's Nurse Residency Program.
• Ability to learn quickly, strong accountability, teamwork, ongoing education, and delivering high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care according to up-to-date evidence-based research, policies and standards.
• Coordinate care with patient, family, and interdisciplinary team.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care; document patient status.
• Provide patient/family education and ensure understanding; participate in discharge planning.
