Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Provide aural rehabilitation for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing.
• Provide augmentative and alternative communication systems for severe disorders.
• Train and educate family/caregivers and other professionals.
• Carry out and adjust treatment plans to maximize therapy benefits and meet discharge criteria.
• Record patient progress and modify plans of care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patient care needs.
• Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings.
• Assist in training and supporting team members, volunteers, and students.
