Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist to join the outpatient Neuro program. The role focuses on delivering patient-centered care, advancing clinical expertise, and supporting staff and students as a clinical resource.

Qualifications

• BLS within 30 days (AHA) required.
• Licensed OT in Illinois.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates safe patient transfers with assistance as needed.
• Develops an appropriate plan of care with goals, treatment, outcomes, and discharge plan.
• Adjusts care based on patient response and evidence.
• Evaluates clinical findings to determine diagnoses and outcomes.
• Performs examinations using reliable, valid methods relevant to the chief complaint.
• Documents evaluations and plans of care per department policy.
