Job summary

Responsibilities include evaluating patient status, documenting progress, and providing patient and caregiver education. Open to Part Time, with sign-on and relocation bonuses available to eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• BLS certification within 30 days.
• Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) per regulatory board

Responsibilities

• Performs patient transfers with assistance as needed.
• Maintains safe body mechanics and documents plans of care.
• Educates patients and families using effective teaching methods.
• Evaluates clinical findings to determine diagnoses and outcomes.
• Examines and selects appropriate examination methods based on history.
• Screens patients to determine therapy necessity and effectiveness.
• Monitors care delivered by support personnel and provides feedback.
• Documents evaluations and plans of care per policy.
• Communicates progress and discharge recommendations with the medical team.
