Job summary

MercyOne Davenport, IA is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Neuro/Oncology Unit on a part‑time 12‑hour day shift. You will provide safe, effective, and culturally competent care for adults with acute medical and surgical conditions, delivering evidence‑based practice and continuous assessment.

The RN will supervise LPNs and aides, coordinate with physicians and families, maintain telemetry when indicated, and adhere to safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required.
• BSN preferred.
• RN license in Iowa; Illinois within 1 year.
• BLS required.
• ACLS required only if unit has telemetry monitoring.
• Mandatory Reporter training within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Conducts assessment.
• Identifies patient problems and develops plan of care.
• Implements outcome/goal-based plan of care.
• Evaluates patient progress and revises the plan as needed.
