Job summary

Insight Institute of Neuroscience & Neurosurgery seeks a Medical Assistant for the Flint Procedure area. You will support physicians, take vital signs, assist with patient interviews and care processes, and handle administrative tasks within an integrated neurosurgery and rehabilitation team.

Cross-trained in clinical and administrative duties, you will manage data entry in the EMR, maintain patient confidentiality, and interact with patients with courtesy and professionalism in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; higher degrees preferred in healthcare or biology.
• Previous healthcare experience preferred.
• CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Screen patients and record vital signs.
• Perform data entry in the EMR system.
• Maintain medical records and patient confidentiality.
• Disinfect and clean rooms after patients.
• Assist with patient care and explanations of treatments.
• Answer phones and schedule appointments.
• Provide excellent customer service.
