Neurology Care is seeking a professional Medical Assistant to provide administrative and clinical support to neurology providers. You will help manage patient flow, documentation, and coordination of care, ensuring high-quality patient experiences in a fast-paced setting.

You will prepare charts, assist during examinations, manage EMR records, and support the care team in daily tasks. Certification in CMA or BLS is preferred, with strong customer service and teamwork skills.

Formación

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 1 year of medical office experience preferred; EMR experience is a plus.
• Skills: Strong customer service, organizational and time management abilities, attention to detail, multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Technical Skills: Typing accuracy and speed for medical documentation; MS Office familiarity.
• Soft Skills: Professionalism, empathy; ability to work independently and in a team.
• Certifications: CMA or BLS preferred.
• Meets core competencies: communication, ethics, infection control, safety.
• Physical: Lift up to 25 lbs; prolonged sitting/standing.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare charts and notes before patients’ arrival; ensure testing and documentation are ready.
• Provide routine support alongside providers and medical staff to ensure patient care quality.
• Room patients, record vital signs, height, weight, and history prior to visits.
• Review medications, allergies, and preferred pharmacy; maintain confidentiality of records.
• Set up equipment, assist with testing and lab tracking; inform patients of status.
• Assist with scheduling, answer phones, and field medical questions.
