Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant Unit Clerk for the Emergency Department at Springfield Regional Medical Center. This role provides direct patient care under RN guidance and supports patient flow and documentation in a fast-paced ED environment.

The position requires a High School diploma or GED, and preference for BLS and nursing student rotation. Strong communication, safety, and clerical skills are essential for optimal patient care and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Nursing student with first clinical rotation complete or state testing completed.
• BLS Basic Life Support preferred.
• Preference for recent acute or long-term care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care including vital signs, hygiene, and mobility.
• Act as liaison between patient and nurse to report changes.
• Deliver high level customer service to patients, families and staff.
• Document patient care accurately and timely.
• Communicate clearly with healthcare team and notify physicians as required.
