Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System in Gainesville, GA is seeking an RN for the Neuro/Medical 36-bed unit. The role delivers care to mixed neuro patients, including ischemic/hemorrhagic stroke, post-thrombolytic patients, EEG monitored cases, and neuro disorders such as Guillain‑Barré, MG, and ALS.

Shift: 12-hour morning/evening. You will provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing, collaborate with the care team, prioritize patient needs, and participate in unit governance.

Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN licensure.
• ADN/ Diploma required; BSN preferred.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience in related unit preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transformational leadership and collaboration on the care team.
• Lead interdisciplinary rounds to ensure appropriate care and smooth transitions.
• Apply the nursing process to meet clinical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs.
• Identify opportunities for quality improvement and evidence-based practice.
• Delegate appropriately while ensuring patient safety.
