Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Neuro IMC unit, a 16-bed stroke-focused intermediate care unit. The role emphasizes nursing leadership, collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, and delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care for neuro and stroke patients.

The ideal candidate has Georgia RN licensure, an ADN or diploma, and at least 1 year of RN experience, with BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as an RN in Georgia.
• Associate's Degree, ADN or Diploma required.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience.
• BSN (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Lead or participate in interdisciplinary rounds to coordinate patient care.
• Apply nursing process to meet clinical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs of patients and families.
• Demonstrate critical thinking in identifying issues and prioritizing care.
• Communicate clearly with the care team, patients and families to ensure safe care.
• Support unit-based governance and continuous improvement efforts.
