Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Neuro/Medical unit. This 36-bed unit cares for a mix of intermediate neuro and standard acute neuro patients, including stroke and post-thrombolytic cases, with EEG monitoring and complex cares.

Ideal candidates hold GA RN licensure, an ADN or Diploma, and at least 1 year of RN experience. The role requires dedication to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement in patient care.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as an RN in Georgia.
• Associate's Degree, ADN or Diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Leads interdisciplinary rounds to facilitate appropriateness of care and smooth transitions across the continuum.
• Demonstrates the nursing process to meet clinical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs.
• Effectively delegates care while retaining accountability for quality of care.
• Communicates clearly with the healthcare team including physicians and APPs; uses safety practices.
