Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina seeks an Radiologic Technologist to perform specialized neuro/vascular/interventional radiographic procedures. The role requires procedural initiative, technical competence, and the ability to work with minimal supervision, applying ionizing radiation across age groups from neonate to geriatric.

Responsibilities include patient positioning, safety checks, and collaboration with the team.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• Must be registered with ARRT.
• Licensure from the SC Radiation Quality Standards Association is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform neuro/vascular/interventional radiographic procedures with knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
• Position patient and prep access site according to standard practice.
• Adjust workflow as case needs and ensure equipment and supplies are ready.
• Educate patient about the procedure and post-procedure instructions.
