Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in Charleston, SC, seeks an experienced Radiologic Technologist for neuro/vascular/interventional procedures. The role requires strong anatomical knowledge, initiative, and ability to work with minimal supervision across a neonate to geriatric population.

Responsibilities include patient positioning, safety checks, and educating patients before, during, and after procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• Must be registered with the ARRT.
• Licensure from the SC Radiation Quality Standards Association required.
• Current BLS certification required (AHA or ARC).

Responsibilities

• Position patient for procedures and prep access site.
• Apply ionizing radiation per protocol during interventional cases.
• Educate the patient about procedure expectations and post-procedural limits.
• Assist physicians with supplies and equipment to support the case.
• Adhere to safety checklists and protective equipment requirements.
