Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina seeks an experienced radiologic technologist to perform specialized neuro/vascular/interventional procedures with adherence to safety and positioning standards. You will apply ionizing radiation across patient ages from neonate to geriatric, prepare access sites, and support interdisciplinary teams.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program, ARRT registration, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• Must be ARRT registered.
• Current BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Perform special neuro/vascular/interventional radiographic procedures.
• Position patient and prep access sites per standard practice.
• Ensure patient safety and follow time-out procedures and PPE guidelines.
• Educate patients about procedure expectations and post-procedure care.
