Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform specialized neuro/vascular/interventional radiographic procedures with strong anatomical knowledge and initiative. Must be ARRT registered, SC license, and hold BLS certification.

Responsibilities include patient positioning, safety checks, and assisting physicians during procedures. Eligible candidates will work 40 hours weekly on days (7a-3:30p), with on-call requirements and a 30-minute geographic

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Licensure from the SC Radiation Quality Standards Association is required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required (AHA or ARC).

Responsibilities

• Position patient for interventional procedures per standard practice.
• Assist in time-out and safety checks with PPE.
• Educate patient on procedure expectations and post-procedure instructions.
• Provide supplies and equipment in the procedure suite without leaving the room.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to improve patient care.
