UF Health Leesburg is expanding its Neuro & Stroke Program and seeks a Critical Care Registered Nurse to deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU. As part of a Joint Commission-certified thrombectomy-capable stroke center, you will monitor hemodynamics, administer medications, document care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Florida Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required or in process.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments of critically ill patients and develop care plans.
• Monitor hemodynamic status and critical patient indicators.
• Administer medications and therapies per physician orders and standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists and staff to coordinate care.
• Document assessments, interventions and outcomes in the EMR.
