Job summary

UF Health Leesburg is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse - Critical Care to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced neuro and stroke program. You will collaborate with physicians, therapists, and staff to manage acutely ill patients, monitor critical parameters, and provide education to patients and families.

Florida RN licensure, BLS/ACLS/NIHSS, and ICU experience are preferred. The role offers opportunities for professional development within UF Health’s expanding Neuro &

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Florida RN license with BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
• BSN preferred or higher nursing degree.
• Demonstrated experience in critical care and stroke neurology settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Monitor hemodynamics, respiratory status, and monitor equipment.
• Administer medications and therapies per physician orders and nursing standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning.
