Job summary

UF Health Leesburg is expanding its Neuro & Stroke Program and seeks an experienced RN to join the Neurovascular Unit. This role focuses on high-acuity neuro patients, stroke care, and collaborative teamwork in a growing, thrombectomy-capable center.

Under the direction of nurse leadership, you will perform assessments, plan care, and contribute to professional development through certifications and training.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in acute care nursing required.
• New grads or candidates without neurology experience must demonstrate strong interest in learning neurology nursing.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates safe, best-outcome nursing care with compliance to Core Measures.
• Documents care provision per departmental standards.
• Engages in committees, quality improvement projects, and peer mentoring.
