Virginia Commonwealth University Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the Neuro ICU, rotating schedule, part-time. You will provide direct, age-appropriate care under the RN and support the care plan in a state-of-the-art NSICU environment in Richmond.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, preferred CNA certification, and BLS. Prior healthcare exposure and ability to work in a high-stress setting are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or equivalent required.
• Preferred Certified Nursing Assistant qualification.
• AHA BLS Healthcare Provider Certification or equivalent.
• Minimum healthcare experience or clinical nursing rotation.

Responsabilités

• Provide safe, direct patient care under RN direction in NSICU.
• Monitor patient conditions and document vital signs and I/O.
• Assist with feeding, hygiene, mobility and daily living activities.
• Maintain a safe, clean, stocked unit and follow infection control policies.
• Participate in mandatory trainings and safety initiatives.
