Job summary

CoxHealth is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant Trainee to provide basic patient care under nursing supervision at CoxHealth South in Springfield, MO. The program includes hands-on clinical learning and a competency assessment upon completion.

The role requires a Missouri CNA license, completion of an unlicensed assistive personnel program, and BLS within 90 days. Benefits include medical/vision/dental and retirement with employer match.

Qualifications

• Education Preferred: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Experience Preferred: Prior patient care or health care related experience.
• BLS must be obtained within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care under direction of nursing staff.
• Take vitals, bathe, dress, move patients, change linens and other duties as assigned.
• Obtains information on patient condition as requested by the nursing staff, and reports any changes.
