Job summary

CoxHealth is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant trainee to provide basic patient care under nursing supervision at the 800 Neuro-Orthopedic unit in Springfield, MO. You will take vitals, help with daily activities, and report patient status changes while training in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or equivalent and are willing to obtain BLS within 90 days and MO CNA licensure within 120 days. Relocation not required; sign-on benefits may apply.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 3 months experience as a nursing assistant or related healthcare role.
• Licensure: BLS to be obtained within 90 days; MO CNA license or MO CNA Appendix within 120 days.

Responsibilities

• Take vitals, bathe, dress, move patients, and change linens as assigned.
• Report changes in patient condition to nursing staff.
• Assist with care in a 26-bed unit focused on stroke, trauma, and neurosurgical cases.
