Accounting Search is recruiting a Neuro-Hospitalist for a hospital in Mattoon, Illinois. The position offers a 7-on/7-off cadence with a flat, guaranteed salary and night telemedicine support.

Inpatient neurology consultations and rapid response coverage are required, with daily rounds and comprehensive EMR documentation. The role includes a robust benefits package and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Completion of an accredited Neurology Residency program.
• Board Certification or Board Eligible in Neurology.
• Active, unrestricted Illinois medical license or immediate eligibility.
• Valid DEA registration.
• Strong clinical judgment and independence as inpatient specialist.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient neurological consultations and acute care management.
• Lead inpatient neuro-hospitalist services as solo on-duty provider.
• Cover Emergency Department consultations 7:00 AM–7:00 PM.
• Utilize a flexible round-and-go model with daily rounds.
• Night teleneurology service covers inpatient and ER needs 7:00 PM–7:00 AM.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation.
