Job summary

Food Management Search, Inc. partners with a premier regional facility to recruit a Neuro-Hospitalist in Mattoon, Illinois. This inpatient-only role features a 7-on/7-off cadence, night-time telemedicine support, and a predictable, flat salary for a BC/BE neurologist.

The position offers stable ED coverage, a flexible block schedule, and a full benefits package including sign-on, relocation assistance, CME support, tail coverage, and a robust retirement plan.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Neurology residency completed at an accredited program.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology; Illinois license or immediate eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient neurological consultations and acute care management.
• Lead inpatient neuro-hospitalist services as solo on-duty provider during your block.
• Provide ED coverage and consultations 7:00 AM–7:00 PM.
• Utilize a round-and-go model with on-site availability through 7:00 PM.
• Support with night-time teleneurology covering inpatient and ER needs 7:00 PM–7:00 AM.
• Maintain thorough electronic medical records for admissions and rounds.
