Job summary

ExcelliSearch, Inc. seeks a Neuro-Hospitalist in Mattoon, Illinois for a full-time, 7-on/7-off inpatient role. Board Certified/Eligible in Neurology with Illinois license and DEA registration preferred.

The position features a guaranteed base salary, night-time teleneurology support, and a collaborative hospital environment. The successful candidate will provide inpatient neurologic consultations, lead on-duty coverage, and ensure comprehensive documentation within the EMR.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Successful completion of an accredited Neurology Residency program.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Neurology.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient neurological consultations and acute care management.
• Lead inpatient neuro-hospitalist services as solo on-duty provider during scheduled block.
• Cover Emergency Department consultations 7:00 AM–7:00 PM.
• Utilize a round-and-go model with rounds completed before leaving campus.
• Night-time teleneurology service covers all inpatient and ER needs 7:00 PM–7:00 AM.
• Maintain thorough electronic medical records for admissions, rounding, and consultations.
