Job summary
Intermountain Healthcare in Murray, Utah, is seeking a Patient Care Technician for a full-time night shift in our Medical Neurology unit. You will assist the patient care team with basic nursing tasks under supervision and deliver compassionate care to patients and families.
Responsibilities include coordinating with RNs, transporting medications, and possibly serving as a Health Unit Coordinator. Utah CNA certification and BLS are required, along with strong communication and teamwork skills.
Qualifications
- CNA certification in Utah is required and must be current or renewed before start date.
- BLS for healthcare providers is required at hire.
- Completion of a CNA training program within the past year is required.
Responsibilities
- Provide basic patient care such as toileting, bathing, and mobility.
- Respond to patient and family requests with excellent service.
- Record patient data and inform RN of changes in condition promptly.
- May monitor patients, assist with telemetry, and transport meds as needed.
- May perform Health Unit Coordinator tasks and support unit operations.
