Job summary

Wellstar Medical Group, LLC is seeking a Care Partner/Nursing Assistant for the Acute Care Neuro unit on the night shift. You will support the Registered Nurse by assisting with ADLs, vital signs, and patient comfort, while promoting a high-quality patient experience and safety.

You'll work in a fast-paced environment, coordinating with the healthcare team and ensuring clear, compassionate communication with patients and families.

Qualifications

• Requires rising senior in good standing or high school diploma/GED (general preferred).
• BLS certification or equivalent required or on hire as per policy.

Responsibilities

• Promote a positive patient experience by partnering with the nurse and healthcare team.
• Assist with daily living activities and comfort measures.
• Support care delivery under RN direction and follow care plans.
• Document patient care in EMR and communicate needs to the RN/Charge Nurse.
• Respond to call lights promptly and assist with safety checks.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance; uphold infection control practices.
