Timberlyn Heights is seeking a Neuro Program Director to lead the Neuro-Behavioral program with clinical and administrative oversight of the unit. The role includes managing services, coordinating admission/discharge plans, and ensuring regulatory compliance across state and federal requirements.

The Director will supervise staff, collaborate with nursing and primary care teams, and drive quality improvement while maintaining HIPAA compliance and strong resident advocacy within a 24/7 on-call

Qualifications

• Masters or doctoral degree in psychology, social work, OTR/L or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience with neurologic, psychiatric, and/or developmentally disabled adults, with at least 2 years in management or supervision.
• Two years experience in long-term care facilities preferred; JCAHO and DPH survey experience desirable.

Responsabilités

• Manage the operations of behavioral health services according to Joint Commission and DPH requirements.
• Supervise behavioral health specialists.
• Collaborate with the Nursing department to meet resident goals.
• Foster collaborative care between primary care providers and mental health clinicians.
• Monitor quality clinical documentation per Timberlyn Heights policies.
• Advocate for residents through local/state/national professional orgs.
• Monitor productivity to inform program improvements and budgeting.
• Provide supervision for staff seeking licensure and precept students.
• Participate in Timberlyn Heights quality improvement efforts.
• Maintain continuing education requirements for licensure annually.
• Ensure HIPAA and corporate compliance; protect client confidentiality.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
