Job summary

Neurocrine Biosciences seeks a field-based sales professional to drive product adoption across a dedicated geographic territory. You will educate physicians, nurses, case managers, and other clinical staff on Neurocrine’s therapies and collaborate with internal teams to optimize patient access and outcomes.

The role requires a BS/BA in science and 4+ years in commercial pharma, with preference for experience in psychiatry/neurology and specialty distribution.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in science or related field; 4+ years of commercial pharma/biotech sales; 3+ years in specialty pharma, LTC, psychology, or neurology sales is highly desired.
• Close-door or specialty pharmacy distribution experience is strongly preferred.
• Psychiatry, neurology or antipsychotic experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with business systems and BI tools (Salesforce.com, Oracle, SAP, Business Objects, Cognos, QlikView, Veeva) or Master’s degree in science with 2+ years in similar roles.

Responsibilities

• Promote and grow Neurocrine products within a specific geographic territory; educate physicians, nurses, and clinical staff on product benefits.
• Execute territory sales strategies via in-person and virtual communications to meet or exceed objectives.
• Identify territory-specific opportunities and barriers to product success and address them.
• Manage promotional resources and budgets effectively.
• Build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, payers, and advocacy groups; collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Patient Access, and Medical Science Liaisons.
