Job summary

WEOKIE Federal Credit Union is seeking an Information Technology Specialist with an emphasis on networking. The role involves installing, testing, and maintaining PC hardware, software, and networking infrastructure, including DNS/DHCP, firewalls, and VOIP systems.

The ideal candidate will manage LAN/WAN connectivity, patch management, asset inventory, and security while providing end-user IT support. On-call weekends/evenings and vendor coordination are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field or proven equivalent work experience.
• LAN/WAN, VPN and Wireless networks.
• Cloud-based VoIP deployment, operation and maintenance.
• Cisco Command Language experience.
• CCNA certification supported knowledge/experience.
• A+, Network+, Security+ a plus.
• Hardware/OS: Microsoft, Cisco gear, MS Exchange/Outlook, Microsoft Server.
• Strong time management and project skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT support for all systems and devices; handle day-to-day operations and problem resolution.
• Install, configure, and maintain network devices and related infrastructure; ensure reliability.
• Manage cloud-based telephone system and Call Center infrastructure.
• Monitor network performance and capacity to meet business needs.
• Support core banking platform and perform systems administration.
• Lead or coordinate IT projects as assigned.
• Procure/repair network and peripheral equipment; liaise with vendors.
• On-call rotation on weekends/evenings for system issues.
• Ensure policies and controls are followed and risk is mitigated.
