Job summary

Capital Credit Union seeks a Network Administrator to manage and maintain LAN, WAN, and wireless networks from De Pere, WI. You will monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement security measures to protect data and systems.

Collaboration with ITS teams and vendors is essential, with occasional after-hours support. The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS/DHCP, VLANs, and VPNs.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
3–5 years of experience in network administration, systems administration, or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of networking concepts, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching, and VLANs.
Experience with network automation, monitoring and management tools.
Proficiency in network security measures including firewalls and VPNs.

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain the organization’s network infrastructure (LAN/WAN/WLAN) and VPNs.
Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement upgrades.
Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
Develop and maintain network backup and disaster recovery plans.
Document configurations and communicate status to ITS teams and management.
Collaborate with vendors and end users on ITS projects.
