Network Tools Engineer

Location: 100% Remote

Citizenship Requirement: US Citizenship is required per government contract. Must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance.

Description:

We are seeking a Tools team member to support multiple tools within our account, functioning as a Subject Matter Expert (SME). The role involves managing, troubleshooting, and planning/releases/upgrades of tools. The SME will update documentation, manage change and incident tickets, and follow ITSM processes for installations and validations.

Primary Tools:

• OpenText NNMi
• OpenText Network Automation
• SevOne NMS and DI
• Vertiv DSView
• BMC TrueServer Automation (for agent installation via automation jobs)

Secondary Tools:

• IBM License Metric Tool
• Load Runner Enterprise

Qualifications and Responsibilities:

• Attention to detail
• System administration experience with Windows, Solaris, and RHEL OS
• Scripting skills (.bat and .sh)
• Knowledge of Java and Perl is a plus
• Strong investigation and troubleshooting skills
• Self-starter with ability to work independently
• Professional communication skills (written and verbal)
• Experience with automation tools and managing jobs
• AWS Certification and related knowledge is a plus
• College degree or 5-10 years of technical experience
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
