The Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District is seeking aqualified individual as a Network/TelecommunicationsSpecialist. The incumbent under the direction of theTechnical Services Supervisor, performs a wide variety of highlyspecialized, campus-wide, technical support in the design,installation, and maintenance of an integrated voice/data/videotelecommunications utility, local area networks and wide areanetworks, including the Internet. Responsible for coordinating theoperation and maintenance of the utility, and developing plans forthe implementation of new applications to meet changing voice, dataand video communication needs. Supports Windows, Server, WindowsClient, Macintosh, Unix, electronic mail, telephone, voice mail,switch/router systems. May act as a lead and coordinate work teamscomprised of lab technicians, student workers and faculty.
