Job summary

M.C. Dean seeks a Network Technician 2 to join the Security and Electronic Systems unit. You will design, operate, and maintain BAN infrastructure including switches, routers, and encryptors, mainly to support USAF facilities.

The role requires DoD clearance eligibility, 4+ years of electronics installation, and strong communication, safety, and problem solving. This is a field role with on-site work across multiple locations and 24/7 on-call support.

Qualifications

• Requires a DoD SECRET clearance eligibility.
• HS diploma or GED is required.
• Requires valid driver's license.
• 4+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance.
• Ability to obtain DoD SECRET Clearance is REQUIRED.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of Base Area Network equipment.
• Configure network hardware and software and test systems for proper operation.
• Ensure safety and adherence to USAF requirements and MC Dean policies.
• Maintain as-built documentation and inventory tools.
• Provide technical support to customers and communicate effectively with team members.
• This position requires 24/7 on-call support.
