Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Network Specialist 2 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit.

You will participate in designing, engineering, integrating, operating and maintaining electronic security services for federal, local and commercial clients, supporting the US Air Force Education and Training Center. The role covers survey, design, service and maintenance activities, including 24/7 on-call support, with emphasis on network security, testing, and project collaboration across

Qualifications

• HS Diploma with 8+ years progressive experience.
• Associate’s Degree with 6+ years progressive experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology (IT) or related discipline and 2+ years progressive experience.
• Understanding of ITIL concepts.
• Knowledge of security implications for network solutions.

Responsibilities

• Survey reports measurement results for senior personnel and management.
• Conduct surveys, inspections, tours of client sites as required.
• Install, configure, and maintain network services, equipment, and devices.
• Support network designs for SLA classifications and project work.
• Assist senior engineers with design documents and QA/QC of designs.
• Prepare test plans and procedures; lead testing activities and commissioning.
