Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. seeks a Network Specialist 3 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) team supporting the US Air Force Education and Training Center. The role focuses on designing, installing, and maintaining secure network solutions for federal clients.

You'll work with field engineers and senior staff on surveys, configurations, and test procedures, with responsibilities spanning installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and 24/7 on-call readiness in a fast-paced defense environment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma with 10+ years progressive experience, or an Associate's degree with 8+ years.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline and 5+ years progressive experience.
• Understanding of ITIL concepts and security implications for network solutions.

Responsibilities

• Survey reports and measurements in actionable form for senior staff.
• Install, configure, and maintain network services, equipment, and devices.
• Assist senior engineers in designs, QA/QC, and test plan development.
• Troubleshoot, perform maintenance, and support 24/7 on-call readiness.
