Job Summary
Under the general supervision of the Infrastructure Engineering Manager, this position supports the ITS-Infrastructure Engineering group and their interface with other campus systems and services. It provides network infrastructure analysis, modification, maintenance, installation, and design, interfacing with internal ITS staff and the user community. The role involves designing and supporting enterprise-level routers, switches, firewalls, access points, wireless controllers, and related infrastructure to ensure system availability, integrity, and reliability.
This position is eligible for remote work in accordance with Cal Poly’s Telecommuting and Remote Work Guidelines and CSU policy, provided all work is performed within California.

Anticipated hiring range: $95,000 – $115,000 annually. The classification range is $61,896 – $152,760 annually. Compensation factors include experience, skills, education, and organizational needs.
