Job summary

Pasona N A, Inc. is recruiting for a Network Support Technician – Japanese Bilingual in Torrance, CA. The role supports a 24/7 NOC, handling bilingual Japanese/English inquiries, basic troubleshooting, and coordination with engineering teams.

Entry-level and STEM OPT candidates are welcome; training is provided to develop networking skills. Shifts rotate across 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, and 11:00 PM–7:00 AM, with weekend/holiday rotation.

Qualifications

• Business-level Japanese and English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Interest in IT, networking, telecommunications, or technical support.
• Ability and willingness to learn new technical concepts.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and comfortable following established procedures.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must have valid U.S. work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support network and IT infrastructure services in a 24/7 Network Operations Center
• Provide operational support for networks, data centers, international transmission services, backbone infrastructure, and related IT services
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email in both Japanese and English
• Perform basic technical troubleshooting by following established procedures, manuals, and workflows
• Escalate technical issues to appropriate engineering teams when necessary
• Monitor system alerts and service status
• Document incidents, actions taken, and customer communications
• Work closely with internal technical teams to support stable network operations
• Learn networking and telecommunications technologies through structured OJT

Salary: $40,000–$45,000/year + bonus + Night Shift Differential Available

Work Schedule

This position operates on a rotating shift schedule:

• 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Employees work 5 days per week, with shifts rotating on a weekly basis. Weekend and holiday shifts are included as part of the rotation.
