Job summary

ASRC Federal is seeking a Network Support Technician for the ISS2 contract to support the Air Force at Eareckson Air Station. The role is rotational: 3 months on-site, 1 month off, with dormitory housing and cafeteria meals provided.

Transportation to EAS is via government aircraft from Anchorage, AK. The technician will install and test PCs, configure operating systems, and provide network management services and security for LAN/WAN environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 years help desk experience and 2 years of network cabling experience.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level I/II certs or ability to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Manage user accounts and resources via Active Directory on local network.
• Troubleshoot JBER NIPR/SIPR network issues and coordinate with network teams.
• Install and configure networked PCs, OS, and peripherals; perform diagnostics.
• Respond to requests via phone, email, or in person; document resolutions.
• Maintain LAN/WAN and network security; support AF network systems.
