ASRC Federal is seeking a Supply Technician Lead for its ISS2 contract working with the USAF at Eareckson Air Station located at Shemya, AK. This position is a rotational union position working 3 months on 1 month off with both lodging and meals provided.
The Lead Supply Technician leads the base supply operation. This position manages the supply room and acquires supplies to meet the needs of the contract including, common off-the-shelf supplies, items that are manufactured to order, and/or specialized materials. The incumbent determines the appropriate procedures to use to obtain goods and services that will fill the requirements, meet the delivery schedule, provide the best practice, and conform to customer and company acquisition regulations. The Supply Technician also receives, evaluates, and researches requests and where appropriate, establishes priorities
Work is typically sedentary in nature and performed in an office setting. The incumbent may occasionally be required to work outdoors with extreme weather temperatures and weather conditions. The incumbent should be able to sit for extended periods of time, stand, walk, talk, hear, and write. The incumbent should be able to use limbs and body members with a good range of motion. Occasional lifting, handling, or moving of objects without assistance weighing up to 35 pounds may be required.
