Job summary

PowerSchool is seeking a hands-on Network Support Engineer to join its global network team in Plano, TX. You will own Level 2 incidents, troubleshoot complex connectivity, and support Cisco Meraki, AWS, and hybrid-cloud networking.

You will interact with executives and IT peers, delivering timely resolutions with clear communication. This onsite role demands strong fundamentals, ownership, and the judgment to escalate when needed, while expanding cloud expertise and contributing to

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience supporting or engineering enterprise networks.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki in production environments.
• Strong TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, DNS/DHCP, NAT, firewall, VPN, IPsec knowledge.
• Experience with AWS networking concepts and hybrid-cloud connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Own Level 2 network incidents from triage to closure with documentation.
• Troubleshoot complex connectivity and performance issues and elevate when needed.
• Administer Cisco Meraki environment including switching, wireless, security, and VPNs.
• Support AWS networking concepts and hybrid-cloud connectivity.
• Provide high-touch onsite support to executives and runbooks/update diagrams.
