Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Principal IT Engineer – Networking to design, implement, and operate enterprise networks with a focus on Cisco and Meraki technologies.

You will ensure reliability of campus and branch connectivity and partner with security teams to integrate identity controls, while driving standardization and automation across environments. You will lead incident triage, manage changes via ServiceNow, and mentor junior engineers, shaping technical direction and roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS or related field, or relevant work experience.
• 10+ years hands-on experience designing, implementing, and operating enterprise networks.
• Cisco/Meraki wired and wireless environments design and operations expertise.

Responsibilities

• Lead incident triage, escalation, and resolution for network events with root-cause analysis.
• Maintain operational hygiene: monitoring, alerts, capacity, configuration accuracy.
• Execute changes via service-management processes with risk assessment and backout plans.
• Create and maintain network diagrams, standards, and runbooks for reuse.
• Automate repetitive tasks and reporting using scripts and APIs.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
