Qualifications

• 4+ years of major internet routing protocols experience.
• 3+ years in large-scale networking environments.
• 4+ years in a Linux/Unix environment.
• 3+ years in two or more programming languages (Python, Java, Perl, PHP, Ruby or Bash).
• 4+ years networking experience (DNS, DHCP, SSL, TCP/IP).

Responsibilities

• Provide critical on-shift network operations support to Amazon.com customers to diagnose and respond to large-scale events.
• Support and maintain next generation networks and drive standards and compliance.
• Collaborate with Network Engineering & Deployment teams to ensure operational readiness for new deployments.
• Drive incident documentation, impact mitigation, and post-event corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain scripts/tools to automate repeatable tasks and improve detection mechanisms.
