Job summary

Ventures Unlimited Inc. is seeking a seasoned network engineer to manage complex routing, switching, and security environments. The role covers datacenter and cloud networking with Azure and AWS, supporting hybrid connectivity and SD-WAN, while guiding a distributed team.

You will troubleshoot 24x7 operations, perform RCA, and propose design improvements to align with standards and security requirements. Strong English communication and collaboration skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have extensive networking and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with TCP/IP, switching, routing, MPLS, and load balancing.
• Knowledge of STP, VTP, HSRP, VLAN, QoS and other switching technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto, Juniper, and Cisco Wireless Controllers.
• Ability to review designs and suggest improvements.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work with distributed teams.
• Excellent English communication.
• Willingness to work 24x7 shifts.
• Team player with commitment to business success.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with conflicting priorities.
• Knowledge of SD-WAN and related technologies.

Responsibilities

• Resolve critical network incidents escalated from L1 and L2 teams.
• Analyze complex routing, switching, wireless, and security issues.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes.
• Review network architecture and recommend improvements and align with standards.
• Support datacenter and cloud networking (Azure, AWS) and manage hybrid connectivity and SD-WAN solutions.
• Guide and manage the team for LAN/Wi-Fi/SD-WAN issues.

• Excellent network administration and troubleshooting skills.
• 2. Good Understanding and troubleshooting skills of TCP/IP, Switching &Routing protocols, MPLS, Load balancing
• 3. Knowledge and experience in STP, VTP, HSRP, VLAN, QoS and other switching technologies
• 4. Good Knowledge & Hands on experience on Palo Alto Firewalls and Juniper switches
• 5. Good Knowledge and experience on Cisco Wireless Controllers
• 6. Ability to understand the design and provide suggestions for improvements
• 7. Excellent analytical and organizational skills and the ability to work with multiple geographically dispersed teams
