Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a senior network engineer to manage complex enterprise networks across data centers and cloud environments. You will handle 24x7 troubleshooting for routing, switching, wireless, and security, and lead a distributed team to deliver reliable network services.

The role focuses on incident resolution, architectural reviews, and ongoing improvements to align with best practices and standards. Strong communication and collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent required.
• Strong hands-on experience with TCP/IP, switching, routing, MPLS and load balancing.
• Experience with Palo Alto, Cisco WLCs, and Juniper switches, and other security devices.
• Ability to analyze complex network issues and improve design for reliability and performance.
• Excellent communication and teamwork across geographically distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Resolve critical network incidents escalated from L1/L2 and perform root cause analysis.
• Review network architecture and recommend improvements aligned with standards.
• Support datacenter and cloud networking (Azure, AWS) and manage hybrid connectivity and SD-WAN.
• Lead and guide teams for LAN/Wi‑Fi/SD-WAN issues.

• Excellent network administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Good Understanding and troubleshooting skills of TCP/IP, Switching & Routing protocols, MPLS, Load balancing
• Knowledge and experience in STP, VTP, HSRP, VLAN, QoS and other switching technologies
• Good Knowledge & Hands on experience on Palo Alto Firewalls and Juniper switches
• Good Knowledge and experience on Cisco Wireless Controllers
• Ability to understand the design and provide suggestions for improvements
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills and the ability to work with multiple geographically dispersed teams
• Excellent listening skills & ability to communicate clearly and fluently in English
• Flexibility to work in shifts for 24x7 support
• Strong team player with a constructive perspective and commitment to the success of the business
• Ability to work on multiple concurrent tasks with conflicting priorities

Roles & Responsibilities

Review network architecture and recommend improvements and align with standards. Support datacenter and cloud networking (Azure, AWS) manage hybrid connectivity and SD-WAN solutions. Abilities to manage and guide team for all LAN/Wi-Fi/ SDWAN issue.
